this film is inspired by a true story.
it's not cruel film. it's law movie but do not boring. i promise you.
so, i'll tell you about actor & director.
director is marc rocco, actor is christian slater, kevin bacon, gary oldman this three man is main actor.

murder in the first had released in the us in 1994. this movie is not popular.
but, naver movie ratings beyond 9 points!!

so, i talk about plot. plot is simillar les miserable.
henry young lost parents at age 10 and was an orphan, who lived with her sister.
when he was 17 years old. caught and gailed for eight years, after stealing a 5 dollar from store.
then he was trying to escape. but failed. so he live in the underground cell for 3 years.
he murdered informants after his release from solitary confinement and charged with first degree murder.
james defens henry young. his claim about the murder is innocent.

if you want something more detail, watch a movie!
the mood of the film is depressed. but it is worth seeing.
the biggest share of reason is acting.
oldman, slater act is good but keivin bacon act is the most spectacular.
he shows psychological description and expresses the view that tamne in prison

i think most impressive sentence in movie is like this
"i need a friend" and impressive scene is end of movie but i will not talk about movie ending.

my feeling about this movie is gloomy human rights.
in the movie the human rights aren't respected.

in conclusion, i think that you should watch murder in the first.
three reasons that ought to see this movie is acting, story, the subject of thought.
